B.D. is based on Brian Dowling, who was quarterback of Yale's football team back when Trudeau started doing the strip for the Yale daily, so I'm not sure he'd go that way. It'd be more effective to have multiple examples anyway.
Guh. The way the last panel of today's Doonesbury strip was drawn made the HSQ kind of sneak up on me. I didn't notice what had happened until I took a second, closer look.
Today's GF nailed me and not just in the political prods. I remember when my brother was being shipped out to the Balkans and had a layover in Dover or something, somewhat desperately trying to figure out how to get there and get on base.
