I've designed more amazing shows at small theatres that get amazing reviews and yet still fight like hell to consistently get 10 people in the seats on any given night. It can be frustrating at times.

Isn't it, though? And then people pay $50 a pop to go see the latest dreck at the Guthrie. Aaargh.

But at least we know we're doing good work, right? Right??
