These boots are made for walkin'

I've been walking a LOT the past few weeks. Over to the Hyde St. Pier, to Fisherman's Wharf, Cow Hollow, the Whole Foods that's south of Market, the top of California St., the top of Broadway, all up and through Chinatown, etc. I have not yet been to the Coit Tower, which, given that I live stone's throw away from it, I really should have by now.

Still. Fun. And tiring. Phew. I figure that at least I'm doing something, since I know I don't have the energy reserves for running.

Tomorrow is Berkeley. Whee!

FWIW, I liked Coit Tower a whole lot -- the view was great, but what I really enjoyed and could have spent twice as much time viewing was the WPA murals in the base, showing a wonderful glimpse of S.F. in the mid-30s. Cool beans!

have a sooper fun weekend. I will think of you here in S'connie. Tonight? KAraoke at a bar in Lomira, WI. Dare I? Hmmmm. There is - of course - a fish fry too. That goes without saying. Jealous yet?

*laughing and laughing*

(I think your fish beats my fish fry any ol' day!!

XOXO

SF is a great walking city.

And enjoy Berkeley tomorrow. I'd have piped up about that, but I'm already committed that day.

Want some recommendations for things to walk to in the East Bay, or have you already got plans?

Walking here is a brilliant way to keep every muscle from the waist down as firm as a teenager's....

Hey, Juliana - I dropped you a note recently to your gmail account. Did you get it?

If you did, that's great -- just wanted to confirm. And I'm glad you're having fun! SF is a great city, and Berkeley is fabulous as well.

All these places only exist in my imagination and other fictions, for me. Enjoy, j!

Dang. If only you'd let me know you were coming to Berkeley. Being as I live there. Hope you had a good time.
