B.D. is based on Brian Dowling, who was quarterback of Yale's football team back when Trudeau started doing the strip for the Yale daily, so I'm not sure he'd go that way. It'd be more effective to have multiple examples anyway.

Today's GF nailed me and not just in the political prods. I remember when my brother was being shipped out to the Balkans and had a layover in Dover or something, somewhat desperately trying to figure out how to get there and get on base. Ditto on his return. Neither time was it possible, because the Army's ability to schedule flights was...what schedule?
