Which Princess Bride Character are You?
this quiz was made by mysti
Okay, here's something odd - over the past two weeks, many people have asked me if I act and why I don't. About half of the people who've asked have known me for long enough that they really should know better. What's up with that? Is it just because I'm considered attractive? Am I giving off an actor-ly vibe? Should I take this as a sign from the universe?
Fact is, I'm a better performer than I am an actor. I'm pretty convinced that if I'd grown up in an area more amenable to garage bands and chicks fronting bands, I'd be a struggling rock'n'roller right about now. Not that I couldn't now, but the energy requirement is a bit beyond my current capacity.
amchau interviews me:
1. What do you most want to do in life? Little things or big things?
Little things that add up to big things. Something that touches someone else.
2. Are any of the fortune cookie inserts in your (purse/wallet/pocket-- you didn't specify) correct?
They're mostly the "advice" kind, but one that I got a week or so ago was eerie. "Gain the wisdom to change the things you can change." I'm trying, I'm trying!!
3. What aspect of fandom would you most want to change, if you could have your way? What would you keep?
Hrm hoom. Not being terribly involved with fandom, I'm not sure. I think I'd want to change the snobbery and/or dangerous fanatacism that some fans develop (kittens, I'm looking at you). I would keep the glee that so many people have. I love the glee.
4. When you dress up to go out, what's your favourite thing to wear?
Long black stretchy skirt, with a front left slit that goes up to a very dangerous level.
5. Of all the books you've ever read, which one do you like best? Which one do you go back to, over and over?
I know I keep saying this, but I'm in love with To Kill A Mockingbird. It just blew me away.
I go back to Shakespeare more than any other author.
That was fun. I'm sure I'll babble more later.
