to mention -
Martin & I met Lars Ulrich (Metallica's drummer) last night. He is a wee little hobbit man. Very nice, but very tiny. Also, he did not look anything like the heavy metal god/insane drummer that he is. Which isn't surprising - I understand stage personas. We were the only two people in the restaurant - other than our friend who's the bar manager - to recognize him. Lars actually pointed us out when his producer asked if he'd gotten bothered - "Those two are the only ones who know who I am, but they're cool." So that was nice.
