I adore Guthrie openings. Free food, free booze (or cheap booze, if you're a liquor snob like Zach and me). and many friends who you only see once every two months. Also, a decent show, Believe me, if it's a sucky show? I'm out of there. But Oedipus, while not being the unqualified success I thought Pygmalion was, was stiill quite fascinating. Also, DAMN. If you EVER have a chance to see Peter Macon in anything, do it. NOW New Yorkistas will probably have better luck, but he is so worth it.
I have actual coherent criticism, but that will wait until the champagne wears off. Good night, my lovelies.
