1. Worst damage you ever took in a fight?
I've not been in a physical fight (I don’t think rugby counts). I still have 15-year-old emotional scars from fights with my father, though.
2. Most money you ever owed a utility company?
Are we counting cell phones? If so - $300 or so. I think.
3. Last time you got kicked out of a bar?
Not kicked out, exactly, but gently sent home – about a month ago.
4. Longest time you slept in a car?
Not sure – probably the trip to Dawson City (Canada) from Fairbanks. *That* was a trip and a half, I tell you what.
5. Most f*d up nickname you've ever been given?
Joolie-Boolie. My mother called me that for about a week.
6. Worst job you ever had?
Outbound calling for Fingerhut.
7. Shortest job you've ever had?
Can’t even remember.
8. Longest romantic relationship?
6 years.
9. Shortest romantic relationship?
Relationship? About a month. Grand passion, followed by a fizzle.
10. Food that you would eat till you puked?
French Fries. Or sushi.
11. Food that even looking at makes you puke?
There’s not much, but lentil soup smell is not a happy one for me.
12. What music saved your life?
Depeche Mode. Also Glenn Gould.
13. Person you miss the most in the world?
Ouch. I’d say Jenny, still. I think about her almost every day, even if I didn’t know her that well.
14. Worst movie you've ever seen?
Waterworld.
15. Best movie you've ever seen?
It’s a cliché for a reason – Citizen Kane.
16. Craziest stuff you've ever done sober?
Heh. Like I’d tell you….
17. Ever almost die?
Three times. Le woot. I’m notsomuch afraid of death, but I am afraid of dying painfully. (Not that I want to die, just that the idea doesn’t scare me.)
18. Ever fistfight a member of the opposite sex?
Came damn close last May….
19. Best place you have ever lived?
San Francisco is ranking right up there…
20. Worst place you have ever lived?
Springfield, IL.
21. Bad habit you have.
Lack of follow-through.
22. Noise that makes you want to punch people?
Chewing with your mouth open.
23. Your favorite tattoo?
Of mine? Courage (male).
24. Least favorite tattoo?
Anything that's really poorly drawn.
25. At your poorest, were you a ramen noodle or Mac and cheese aficionado?
Ramen. More flexible, less likely to cause digestive problems.
26. Most money you have ever spent on a single meal?
$90 per person, I think?
27. Best gift you ever got?
My Kitchen-Aid mixer.
28. Best pet you ever had?
My awesome cat, Rugby. He was a Maine Coon/California Ragdoll mix, super-intelligent, and would let me carry him draped around my neck like a stole.
29. Ever run from the cops?
Oh hell yes.
30. Money or love?
Love, of course. But love is a lot easier when you don’t have to worry about money.
