If you were at a reception that was more like a big party, and "Diamond Dogs" (either version, but the Beck one from Moulin Rouge is in my head right now), do you think you'd dance?

What songs would you dance to? Hypothetically?

At the last wedding I went to, the person solved this problem by asking people to write one song that they absolutely dance to on the RSVP.

David and Jacqueline had people fill out a form in advance, and that allowed for the creation of a very varied dance mix CD. I'd ask for some classic Bowie along the lines of "Young Americans" or "Suffragette City". And the Stones, well...

But then, I'm old.

And I would dearly love some Sinatra .... because I'm ancient!

Well, that and I'm married to F.W. the great toe stomper.

Youch.

Diamond Dogs, maybe not. But maybe.

I like old New Order, Kylie Minogue, "Never There" by Cake, sprinklings of hiphop (new and old), 80s, Bollypop, other world pop, etc.

But then, I can't make it, so...

Can you go wrong with Bowie? I think not. Beck, perhaps.

The list of songs I would/will/have danced to is long and varied.
