For my work computer system. Everything is so very effing slow, and Gmail seems to be the worst of all.

However, I have a massive love-on for Neil Gaiman's latest post - it's about mousesong:

Anyone who has read CORALINE will have learned that mice and rats sing. Now the scientific community finally catches up with children's fiction... http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/story/0,3605,1605806,00.html

If the researchers are right, it will elevate mice to an exclusive musical club until now populated mostly by birds, whales, dolphins and gibbons.

Mousesongs can be heard here http://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-audio//Guardian/audio/2005/10/31/audioS4.mp3 ( shifted down 4 octaves but in real time) and at http://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-audio//Guardian/audio/2005/10/31/audioS1.mp3 ( slowed 16-fold).

Way. Frackin'. Cool.
