I should go out on Saturday nights.  Instead, I go home after work and give myself a manicure.  It's a French manicure, but black with metallic black at the tips.  Tres gothy.  (Last week was black with metallic red.)

Me, I'm not big on manicures (as I tend to ruin them, and/or need my nails short) but boy, do I need a pedicure. I'm thinking after work today, though. ;)

I have no problem putting the polish on by myself (and I'm obsessive about patching), but a manicure every 6 weeks or so is essential for my nails to stay healthy and not get raggedy on the cuticles. Plus, soothing.
