Finally. (Running.)

e_julianaRan 4 miles today, first time in a week. There still some slight right knee pain, so I ran on turf as much as I could. Not too bad time-wise, but I could use a running partner.
I think a major part of the problem was that I forgot to take my daily dose of ibuprofen while I was in Alaska, so all of the little inflammations got to run rampant for a while. Bad, bad idea. Advil is my friend. Yes.
I'm not thrilled with the ASICS. They're pretty and shiny and light, but I'm very meh on the fit. I think I'll go back to the Brooks Adrenaline after this pair. The Brooks are heavier, but they fit quite nicely. Ohhhh, and they do make a trainer/racer - the Burn. Okay, I think the nice people at Brooks will be getting a lot of my money from now on.
ION, uncertainty abounds on the job front, and wedding plans are still eating my head. At least now I'm moving on to the music selection part of it.....
