1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life?
Not including dorms (because euw): 9. 1 my first year of life, then the house that my mother is still in. 2 apartments in Minneapolis, 1 apartment in Springfield, IL (don't ask), 4 apartments since coming back here. I really hope that this one is the last for a long time. I like it. It suits me and fits both Z and I easily. Plus, the hardwood floors are kind of messed up, which reminds me of the house I grew up in.
2. Which was your favorite and why?
This one. The floors, the woodwork, the French doors, the possibility of doing figure 8's through the apartment.
3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why?
So. Stressful. I dislike that kind of upheaval. I'd rather be a nomad than have to pack and then unpack all of my shit every year and a half (which I've been doing).
4. What's more important, location or price?
Location. Right now. If one of us lost our job, though, price rapidly assumes precedence.
5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?
Good-sized, well-designed kitchen. Spa bath (I've got the Kohler bathtub picked out). Deck for the grilling and hanging out on. Central city location (so notsomuch a house as a penthouse).
