red hair and black leather

My hair is black again. Well, auburn-black, which is what I used to dye it. But definitely not the red anymore.

The last time it was black, I was 3 weeks out from the accident, and sallow as hell. Now, I'm tan and fairly healthy. I think it'll be a good fit now (it certainly wasn't then).

Also, ZOMG do I need to get it cut before I got to DC & NYC. Yes.

I can tell that it's summer because I'm eating melon like a fiend. Mainly cantaloupe and watermelon, but also any others that my co-op sees fit to bring in. The best thing? The melon season ends just before I'm sick of eating it. So I'm ready to be done, but still want just a bit more. But right now, I'm reveling in the pure yummy goodness.

I re-dyed my hair last night, using the Feria PowerReds. Holy shit, that stuff is potent. My hair is now a lovely brightBRIGHT red, with just a tinge of copper. I want to go black again, but that will have to wait until October. You see, in October, I'll be done with the marathon and not outside as much, therefore not exposing my hair to the fading properties of sunlight. Yes.

I still have to figure out if I should let my hair grow back out to the skater-punk length, or keep it short. Hrm. Not a bad dilemma, really.
